Our mission is to provide you with great vacations, but especially those with a culinary focus! Regardless of the reason for your Getaway we will make it spectacular with all of your interests, hobbies, and favorite flavors in mind!
Jordan is a Certified Executive Chef & Certified Culinary Administrator with the American Culinary Federation and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY (2008). Jordan is also a Certified Journey Baker with the Retail Bakers of America, a Certified Dietary Manager-Certified Food Protection Professional with the Assn. of Foodservice Professionals, a Wine Steward Associate & Dining Room Associate with the Federation of Dining Room Professionals, and has completed the Court of Master Sommeliers Level 1 Certification. Jordan is also currently working to become a Certified Practical Exam Evaluator for the American Culinary Federation to assist yon culinarians reach their professional potential.
In addition to his professional certifications Jordan ran food service and hotel operations and currently teaches collegiate level Culinary Arts courses, the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation's ServSafe & ServSafe Alcohol courses as well as their ManageFirst program courses. Jordan loves to travel for food, especially when he can do so on his 2016 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic softail. Food travels have taken Jordan all over the world in search of great food, he and his wife actually had a goal pre-Covid to visit at least one Michelin 3-Star restaurant per year (below in parenthesis). In addition to these food travels there have been many more, including a backpacking trip through 12 countries with his high school best friend in 2004 - a trip that included St. Patrick's Day in Dublin, Easter in Paris, Pope John Paul II's funeral while Rome and Vatican City, and Queen's Day in Amsterdam! Outside of food and travel Jordan enjoys hiking, photography, history, working with non-for-profit organizations and time with family and pets.
